Description
SummaryDPS Group Global is looking for a highly motivated BMS Engineer to support a client in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will support the building management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshooting of HVAC controls issues
Troubleshoot BMS and BAS – BAS Metasys and Delta controls
Review and provide equipment operation recommendations
Support our BMS vendors on ongoing BMS maintenance and upgrades
Support lab services in maintaining freezer/incubator alarms
Support of external consultants for commissioning, controls analytics, and engineering studies
Work with the project manager to coordinate the activities and needs of the installation team
Attend on site coordination meetings as appropriate
Develop and maintain an installation punch list prior to the close of the project
Day-to-day collaboration with BMS Manager and Global Engineering team.
Skills & Qualifications
Building Automation background in the form of engineering and/or installation and programming
Versed in DDC logic sufficient to be able to follow and troubleshoot logic programming
Good understanding of HVAC equipment and operation
Good understanding of control wiring and relay logic
Experience with Metasys SMP is a plus
Must be an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in always following through.
