The role entails overseeing daily inventory control, ensuring the smooth movement of raw materials from receipt to the timely and accurate distribution of finished products to our storage facilities or customers.


Supervisory Responsibilities At the direction of the Production Manager the Warehouse Coordinator shall provide additional oversight, direction, and coordination activities of all Shipping/Receiving personnel. Provide coaching and mentoring to ensure all positions within the facility are executing job responsibilities, in accordance with the GMP and SOPs for PSI.


Duties/ Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the daily and overall warehouse operations and driving improvements in the following focus areas:

A.
General Picks-up product by monitoring production; loading and moving product. Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location in Warehouse Management System (WMS). Prepares product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems. Verifies product inventory reports by comparing inventory quantities and reports and adjusting entries. Documents actions by COMPLETING forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining WMS. Monitors inventory by completing counts as required. Receive all incoming products. This includes, but is not limited to unloading product, checking quality, filling out the receiving freight log, completing quality control sheets, putting the product away in the proper location in the warehouse, etc. Collaborate in a timely and proactive manner with Customer Service and Logistics to ensure we ship finished product on-time and escalate delays promptly.


B. Safety Ensure strict adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for improving job safety to promote a healthy work environment. Responsibilities in this area are to comply with safety rules and to report any unsafe conditions to the Facility Supervisor. Use caution when driving the forklift and follows all rules from training. Pick up and dispose of any debris in the warehouse that you come across.


C. Quality Ability to multi-task and perform the list of checks for product quality as defined by the standard operating procedures. Ability to accurately take inventory of facility for all finished goods and raw materials through counts, weights, and measures. Ensure that all inbound raw materials are visually inspected and free from damage. If any damage is present, then document it on the bill of lading before the delivering carrier leaves the warehouse. Ensure all inbound documentation reflects the correct quantity and content Ensue all outbound pallets are free of damage and strapped correctly Notify the Facility Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor if any quality issue are identified. Also has the skills to perform inventory reconciliation.


D. Productivity/ Schedule

  • Responsibilities in this area include:
  • Shipping/Receiving
  • Prepare all orders daily shipments. This includes, but is not limited to stretch wrapping pallets, placing pallet sheets, staging product, pulling LTL and UPS orders, following rail, road, and LTL load guidelines. o Receive all incoming products. This includes, but is not limited to unloading product, checking quality, filling out the receiving freight log, completing quality control sheets, putting the product away in the proper location in the warehouse, etc. o Ensure that all outgoing orders and incoming materials are approved and signed off by supervisor prior to running copies of paperwork for trucker. o Keep all raw materials and finished product organized and safely stored in the proper warehouse locations. o Keep the warehouse neat, orderly, and clean which includes weekly sweeping. o Pull raw materials when needed for production. o After orders are shipped; attach all packing lists to bill of ladings and turn into (including faxes) designated office personnel when the order is shipped or received.
