- Utilize automated software for the design of urban and rural roadways and intersections (including roundabouts)
- Training/mentoring of less-experienced staff
- Complete design and environmental documentation and reports
- Coordinate with utility companies and other agencies
- Participate in public involvement activities
- Calculate quantities and develop construction cost estimates
- Participate in transportation planning and engineering studies

- 4+ years of experience in transportation related design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D

- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- WisDOT experience is preferred
