Description

The
Client Services Coordinator reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintains ongoing communication with client regarding status of care, treatment plan, and all related health care needs.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls including calls for scheduling, coordinating tests and results, referrals and billing questions.
  • Investigate, monitor and resolve all inquiries.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of various specialist appointments for patients.
  • Establish a network of contacts.
  • Assist with departmental communication and marketing strategies.
  • Manages schedules to make best use of all resources including providers, rooms and equipment.
  • Schedules appointments within own department and coordinates appointment scheduling with other departments or organizational partners.
  • Maintains a database of all corporate client profiles.
  • Facilitates the resolution/prevention of billing errors and denials including obtaining precertifications or referrals as needed.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 year experience in a healthcare environment
  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Computer experience (data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, electronic medical record system)

Preferred:


  • Bachelors degree
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Spanish language
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
