  • What you will be doing
  • The Financial Analyst II performs various financial analyses and support consolidation work for multiple Cencora business groups as well as generates revenue reports for the sales & business unit functions. Provides financial reporting to management to ensure revenues and operating expenses are monitored and operational issues relative to finance are highlighted and addressed.
  • Analyzes monthly business unit and functional financial statements.
  • Prepares and presents monthly financial analysis and reports to Senior Leadership.
  • Generates monthly forecast, annual budget, and longrange plan to share with Business Leads and partners.
  • Develops, coordinates and prepares business unit operating expenses for financial plans.
  • Assist in consolidating P&L reporting for all international business units, including monthly estimate submissions, variance commentary, and pertinent KPIs
  • Track capital expenditure details across International Business Group portfolio and assist in ensuring company spending criteria is being fulfilled.
  • Analyze Foreign Exchange impacts on Cencora Operating P&Ls across all international Business Units within the context of Estimate, Plan, and LRP.
  • Track Key expense categories across Business Group International and investigate key variances to provide appropriate business justifications.
  • Interacts and partners with business segments teams to gather and compile data needed to conduct analyses, identify trends and/or address senior management requests.
  • Query key customer / vendor data using SQL.
  • Generates ad hoc analysis reports as needed.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like

  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of 2+ directly related and progressively responsible experience or a Master's Degree.

Knowledge of various financial management areas such as credit and collection principles, commercial credit, uniform commercial code, financial statement analysis, business law, plan development, productivity and profitability analysis.- Working knowledge of accounting and planning software packages.

- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing- Strong interpersonal skills- Strong mathematical and analytical skills- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail- Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements- Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
