Job Description:

HOW BEING AN IT PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT?

  • Deputy Technical Lead / IT PM will be required to perform a number of diverse functions for the customer from participating and contributing to technical tasks, to leading development and infrastructure efforts.
  • Leads and champions a data driven organizational plan to optimize the customer's data management, governance, accessibility.
  • Responsible for providing programmatical expertise in the planning, vision, design and implementation of the technical solution.
  • Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
  • Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
  • Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Required Experience: 16+ years


  • Required Technical Skills:
  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership for the program.
  • Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate supervisors.
  • Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  • May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
  • Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
  • Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
  • Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
  • Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Scrum Master
  • Firm understanding of SQL and database concepts
  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, SNS, CloudWatch)
  • Experience with ServiceNow and/or Salesforce
  • Location: Chantilly, VA, customer site

The likely salary range for this position is $154,960 - $195,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
