ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Drive CFH residents, staff, and other affiliates to and from assigned locations in a safe and courteous manner as directed.
  • Transport CFH business items (documents, boxes, supplies, furniture, etc.) as directed.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Carry client property when transferring or assisting with a client move out.
  • Maintains awareness of potential risk to clients and staff while operating CFH vehicles.
  • Performs all routine maintenance and interior/exterior cleaning services for vehicles daily.
  • Maintains daily log of vehicle mileage hours.
  • Maintains log of routine inspections of vehicle, daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Responds to emergency calls when directed by the Shelter management team.
  • Oversees routine maintenance appointments (Dropoff/Pickup of shelter vehicles).
  • Assist with Special Events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


Educational and Experience Requirements:


  • High School graduate or GED equivalent (required)
  • Ability to drive a large vehicle (34' or more)
  • AED/CPR Certification (or willingness to take course).
  • Some Computer skills.
  • Experience with Homelessness preferred.
