JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential facility. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals in need.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Residential Program Manager has the overall responsibility and oversight of the facility or facilities assigned.
  • Formulates, coordinates, supervises and oversees the development and implementation of quality programming goals and objectives for personal growth and development of program participants.
  • Involved and an active participant in all aspects of hiring, disciplinary and discharge processes.
  • Ensures that staff provides focus and opportunity for integration of program participants into the community and encourages community awareness and involvement.
  • Provides oversight and the final say all in ensuring and maintaining the adequate provision of medical and dental care, adequate and appropriate day placement and other ancillary services, as needed.
  • In the event of an emergency or extenuating circumstance, the Residential Program Manager may be called upon to perform hands on DCW responsibilities, assist in the supervision of another residence, or participate in an internal investigation of a facility, staff or incident outside of their own residence.

The Residential Program Manager may be called upon, from time to time to perform jobs that may not be specifically identified above. The Residential Program Manager is responsible for performing all functions requested by their immediate Supervisor.

The Residential Program Manager is on-call twenty four (24) hours a day and will be assigned a cell phone to facilitate contact.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma/GED, and at minimum five (5) years experience working with special needs population.
  • Working in an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) preferred
  • Supervisory experience in any field.
  • AMAP Certified preferred (If not trained will be required to complete training)
  • Must have clean and valid NYS Drivers License
  • Strong verbal/written skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Flexibility for late shifts
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with residents
  • Must pass background checks

Pay:
$ $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
