The Solingen City Development Company (SEG) was founded in 2020.

The tasks of the SEG are diverse and include the development of brownfield sites, the construction of necessary municipal infrastructure, the development of properties and land owned by the shareholders, the construction of new housing, and the development of urban problem areas.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as the Managing Director of the SEG (m/f/d). This is a full-time position with attractive salary conditions. The appointment is initially for 5 years.

Your main responsibilities include:
Overall entrepreneurial responsibility and representation of the company, taking into account overarching municipal and political objectives Responsible and independent management of all urban and building-related tasks, including planning and construction processes Attracting investors and project developers, as well as implementing funding projects with significance for urban development Confident representation of the company internally and externally, as well as representing the SEG in shareholder meetings, the expert advisory board, and the economic advisory board of the SEG, as well as in committees, including the preparation of decision templates
