PBNA $26.75 per hour*$26.75 per hour *Previous warehouse leadership exp preferred. Previous shipping/receiving and extensive forklift exp with 3 high racks preferred. Scope of PositionThe DC Lead will be required to help support the business in all aspects of performance to meet our team goals. This position will report directly to the Distribution Center Front Line Leader. The DC Lead will actively support team goals through TPM leadership. The DC Lead will assist in allocating issues and troubleshooting orders that have discrepancies. Also the DC Lead will ensure the palletizer is set up properly and product is verified. The DC Lead will serve as a primary backup to the FLL. At times, the DC Lead maybe required to fill in as operator, shipping clerk, or GUI when needed. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES* Must have all the skills of level two distribution center positions -- must pass skill assessment* Strong communication and presentation skills* Strong technical expertise: WMS, mathematical aptitude, computer literacy and warehouse operations* Attention to detail oriented* Must be able to work in a team-based environment* Must be self-directed and take on additional responsibilities when asked* Conduct themselves as a professional at all times and function as a FLL when needed* Know the policy book so performance issues can be addressed if needed* Must be able to work overtime. (including weekends)* Excellent people skills* Self-motivated* Ability to direct others* Ability to give clear and concise instructions* Must be multi-task oriented* Must be certified on fork lift* Must not have any performance issues DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: * First contact for floor-related issues* Prepare pre-shift meeting data for respective shifts (update board in team room)* Perform product verification* Maintain sanitation standards throughout the DC* Perform cycle counts daily* Assist the shipping office operator with allocation failures in doors serve as backup during breaks and absences* Provide direction for team members* Troubleshoot order allocation failures when they occur* Provide support for ICS,CSR,QA when needed * Investigate inbound/outbound discrepancies* Provide necessary placards to forklift operators for military, LTL and international orders* Ensure LTL's are released for the next day * Expected to devote 80% of their time on the floor coordinating their shift's activities* Ensure maximum utilization of all resources* Inform FLL of any issues on the floor * Actively support team concepts through TPM participation* AM Team leader/member* FI Team participation* HSE Pillar support* PM team support* All other duties assigned by FLL, manager or as business needs change* Support KPI's * Monitor bulk storage area* Monitor staging bays to ensure only product picked for orders is there and return non-picked product * All other duties assigned by FLL, Lead, or DC Manager High School Diploma or GED Our Company will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other applicable laws, including but not limited to, San Francisco Police Code Sections , commonly referred to as the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance; and Chapter XVII, Article 9 of the Los Angeles Municipal Code, commonly referred to as the Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance. >All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
