About us
Cannettic Energy with Cannetta is a small business in Vista, CA. We are professional and creative. Our goal is to provide fun opportunities to educate and create friendships within our our 55 + community. We understand the importance of creating meaningful relationships with our students.

Our mission is to create a positive association to foods by teaching our students how to cook healthy, sustainable meals.

Our company also holds 23 classes per week in a dance studio.

We encourage movement through music for a sense of creativity and a positive association to a variety of different dance styles.

Our team of professional teachers even go out to serve our local elementary and middle schools. We provide enrichment after school classes. Our team functions with a mission in mind. Our mission represents a creative fun, kinetic program.

Job Overview:
This position requires preparation of a healthy meal. You will be responsible to teach a small group of students how to cook a weekly meal. Every week you will be responsible to create a recipe and provide the food items used. You will teach your students how to cook these items with an importance of it's nutritional values.

This class is a fun, relaxed environment. We are looking for a creative team member who enjoys sharing their love for cooking.

$40. Per hourly class. Every Wednesday at 3:00-4:00. Enjoy sharing and sampling the meals you create. Your students will be a small group of students in the 55+ age range.

*Other opportunities: We have a nutrition lecture class position open. This class is held one hour before the cooking class. Every Wednesday at 2:00-3:00. If you are interested in providing an educational lecture on healthy food choices then please apply These two classes go hand in hand We want our 55+ community to learn about healthy food options, why they are vital and imperative to their health and Longevity.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring highquality dishes are cooked with a demo for your small class
  • Manage kitchen (no staff) you will be responsible for purchasing your weekly ongoing recipe items and cooking them in our kitchen. Your students will learn how to cook these items through your instruction
  • You will be provided a monthly meal budget based on your recipe request
  • All receipts of items purchased must be turned into management
  • Develop and maintain a weekl menues that meet quality standards
  • Monitor food costs and work within budgetary constraints
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with management to plan and execute menu changes
  • Maintain inventory levels and purchase supplies as needed
  • Uphold a positive and professional approach with team members

Experience:


  • Proven experience as a chef
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
  • Excellent understanding of restaurant operations and culinary techniques
  • Ability to lead a class to achieve culinary excellence in a fun and inviting way
  • Experience in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control
  • Familiarity with dietary department requirements is a plus
