    Job Summary:

    OGX is in need of a Tech Services Team Lead to take charge of the Tech Services Team, oversee the technical aspects (audio, video & operational) of the experience, and maintain the cleanliness of the venue. The ideal candidate flourishes in a dynamic environment and boasts the technical expertise required for facility operations.

    This part-time role offers a compensation of $21.00 per hour.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Tech Services Manager to ensure all attraction components are functioning correctly
    • Assign tasks to ensure timely completion or liaise with vendors for escalation
    • Ensure venue cleanliness and guest satisfaction
      • Upkeep of exhibition hygiene by sweeping floors, cleaning exhibits, and tidying up trash in the vicinity
      • Enforce adherence to health and safety protocols; assist in stocking disinfectants and preventive items (wipes & sanitizers) at various stations within the venue
      • Maintain smudge-free exhibits and a restroom up to display standards
    • Schedule and oversee repairs and maintenance promptly and efficiently
    • Conduct routine checks using daily and weekly inspection lists
    • Perform proactive maintenance on essential systems to preserve venue integrity
    • Coordinate with on-site security to ensure venue safety
    • Address guest inquiries about the attraction
    • Provide operational support and necessary assistance to ensure optimal guest experience

    Requirements:

    • Full Covid-19 vaccination status is mandatory
    • Ability to stand stationary for over 75% of the shift duration
    • Availability for a minimum of two shifts, with one being on a weekend
    • Mobility within the exhibit area
    • Engaged in continuous cleaning and maintenance of exhibit equipment
    • Regular operation of audio-visual equipment and lighting systems
    • Lifting and moving items weighing up to 75 pounds frequently
    • Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays

    Your experience:

    • High school diploma required, some college education preferred (current students are welcome)
    • Previous exposure to show elements like lighting, audio, and/or visual
    • Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
    • Understanding of fundamental components in critical systems (plumbing, electrical, and HVAC)
    • Minimum of 6 months in a leadership position
