The Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile is hiring a 3rd shift Security Agent. This is a full time role.

Responsibilities:

The Security Agent will report to the Security Supervisor and the Manager on duty and will respond and handle guest and security issues.

The Security Agent will manage situations according to hotel policies, procedures and regulations to ensure the security of the hotel assets, guests and team members.

Duties include but not limited to patrolling the hotel to ensure guests and team members are safe and the hotel is secure.

Deal with difficult guests' situations that may arise during your shift by using the H E A R T method by remaining calm and by de-escalating the situation.

Answer any house calls via radio and phone and assist team members and guests as needed.

Initiate investigations, write up incident reports, monitor investigations and ensure proper property follow up and communication is completed and provide daily reporting.

Support any guest services need that may arise during your shift as directed by the manager on duty/night auditor.

Qualifications:

Diploma or GED, 21 years or older
Prior security experience of 2+ years, ideally in the hospitality field or related industry
CPR training certification/ alcohol awareness training
Perc card training
Any applicable security training
Professional communication skills
Deescalation skills required
You will be trained on our hotel management system ONQ
