- The position is planned for a full-time, 40 hour week
- Clinic hours are generally of 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Four-or-five-day work week available, depending on preference
- Very manageable shared primary care call requirement - about one week per year
- No scheduled weekends

Why Penobscot Community Health Care? Governed by a board of community volunteers, PCHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center comprised of seventeen practices and program service sites in Bangor, Brewer, Old Town, Winterport, Belfast and Jackman. As an organization PCHC offers a wide range of fully integrated primary care services for the whole person: family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, dental, mental health, speech and hearing, nutrition, substance use disorder treatment, podiatry and chiropractic medicine, primary care pharmacy, shelter and healthcare for those experiencing homelessness, and more

Helen Hunt Health Center is housed in a beautifully renovated, spacious 3-story 1903 brick school house rich with local history. A well-loved landmark that has been lovingly restored, the Helen Hunt building serves as a focal point for community health services just as it did for education over 100 years ago when it was a school serving local 4th and 5th grade students
Old Town, Maine is a unique island community made up of several islands in the Penobscot and Stillwater Rivers conveniently accessed by several bridges.
