Physician Assistant Opportunity - Join Our Dynamic Orthopedic Trauma Service

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center seeks four Physician Assistants to add to our growing team of Orthopedic Trauma specialists, which includes five surgeons and four physician assistants.

Responsibilities include assisting in the operating room, rounding on the hospital floors, office based clinical care and participating in the trauma call schedule.

The team of orthopedic trauma physician assistants work a varied schedule including nights, evenings, and weekends.
Our orthopedic trauma team is dedicated to teaching and providing a supportive, collegial work environment. We offer a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package including a generous student loan repayment program.

Candidates must be NCCPA certified, and licensed to practice in the State of Maine, or immediately eligible for the same.

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is a 411- bed, regional tertiary care and ACS verified level II trauma center serving a patient population of 500,000 living in the northern two-thirds of the state's geography.

The hospital is a base for LifeFlight of Maine, a critical care air transportation service flying nearly 900 missions per year.
