- Main escalation point for guest internet services.
- Design, support, and manage guest internet service scope required by PMO Projects.
- Subject matter expert for wireless technologies.
- Manage and audit property network service provider compliance with brand standards.
- Serve as an escalation point for Managed Service Providers
- Work outside of normal business hours when required (scheduled maintenance, escalated problem management, project-based implementations)
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience within the hospitality IT industry.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a role supporting, deploying and/or managing guest internet systems.
- Strong documentation skills; this role will involve handling of network documentation, technical standards and reporting metrics/analysis.Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Collaboration with both external and internal partners is essential to the success of this role.Able to work with multiple, competing priorities and triage according to business priorities.An understanding of wireless technologies commonly used in hospitality environments. This includes Wifi 5,6,7, Zigbee and BLE networks.Intermediate networking skills with an understanding of network segmentation and security.An understanding of IOT infrastructure and management.A foundational understanding of low voltage cable plant distribution.
