Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials properly
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed
- Perform floor care tasks, including buffing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Follow established safety guidelines and procedures while performing duties
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations
Skills:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
Job Types:
