    MORI Associates is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist III to provide Configuration, Document, & Records Management for the Engineering Drawing Control Center (EDCC) in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract.

    eMITS is the Agency's enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM).

    From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing NASA TV segments, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA's message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA's communication to the outside world.

    JOB DESCRIPTION /


    FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsible for desktop publishing, recordkeeping, and meeting support for forums, control boards, panels, and reviews (including life cycle reviews).
    Assist Projects with test scheduling and data collection.
    Maintains various logs and relays general information regarding status of configuration management products.
    Supports quality assurance and configuration management audits to verify all baselines have been met.
    Responsible for documentation review for proper markings/classifications, editorial updates and records management for associated projects.
    Is extremely familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the configuration management field.
    Responsible for the description of provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits.
    Supports quality assurance and configuration management audits to verify all baselines have been met.
    Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
    Regulates the change process to that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
    Must possess an excellent ability to communicate verbally and in written form effectively.
    Use of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Edge, & Web Architectures.


    Remote, hybrid, and onsite positions the employee bears travel costs to nearest NASA Center for badging and issue of NASA IT equipment.


    EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS WORK REQUIREMENTS:


    Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 12 years of experience in the field OR a related area OR requires an associate's degree and at least 8 years of related experience OR requires a bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of related experience.

    SKILLS:

    Minimum Requirements:

    Must possess the ability to communicate verbally and in written form effectively, and the ability to work within U.S.

    Government contractual realm. Demonstrate and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. Possess problem solving and analytical skills and the capability to prioritize daily work schedule in keeping with productivity standards.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Lync, Teams, OneNote, One Drive), SharePoint, and Box.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    NASA/JSC experience is preferred.

    Salary Range:
    $53, $66,393.60
