Job Summary and Qualifications:


Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in PACU/PreOp Holding Area/Pre Admission Testing by maintaining safe staffing patterns and delegation of staff assignments based on skill and patient acuity.

Actively interfaces with ancillary departments on a daily basis to identify/solve patient issues. Medically responsible to the Department of Anesthesia


What qualifications you will need:


  • Current California RN license
  • Completion of Basic Arrhythmia course
  • ACLS Certification
  • PALS
  • CCRN or CPAN preferred
  • BCLS
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • AA degree in nursing
  • BSN preferred
  • Minimum three years of experience in PACU or Critical Care Units
  • Minimum oneyear management experience in a PACU or Critical Care
Riverside Community Hospital is a large acute care facility with 517 beds, established in 1901.

It has the most extensive Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the Inland Empire region and is the primary recipient of STEMI (heart attack) cases in Riverside County.

The hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center and has a HeartCare Institute that offers both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.

Riverside has a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which it is very proud of.
