    Overview

    As a Business Administrator, you'll be the go-to support for 2-3 General Managers in a fast-paced sales team, handling calendars, travel, and team programming like a pro. This role demands top-notch admin skills and managing interactions with executives, customers, partners, and Microsoft employees worldwide.

    Qualifications

    Required/Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in Administrative, Business Support, or customer service, focusing on meeting/event scheduling, travel management, and executive-level administration.

    Responsibilities

    Calendar Management
    • Strategically manage calendars and time for manager(s), ensuring seamless operation and preparing meeting materials. Collaborate with peers to facilitate decision-making processes and engage with stakeholders when necessary.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication
    • Build and leverage networks across organizations, acting as a liaison between executives and teams. Communicate with external partners and represent Microsoft professionally.
    Discipline Growth and Development
    • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training within the Business Support community. Contribute to team building and share best practices for personal and team growth.
    Team Management Support (Recruitment, Onboarding/Offboarding)
    • Facilitate team activities, collaborate on recruitment efforts, and support onboarding/offboarding processes. Manage headcount activities and contribute to organizational culture.
    Event Coordination and Logistics
    • Take charge of event coordination, logistics, and post-event activities. Collaborate with stakeholders and identify best practices for future events.
    Leadership
    • Lead by example, maintaining professionalism, executive presence, and influencing colleagues during challenging situations.
    Project Ownership
    • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed. Drive project success and streamline processes for efficiency.
    Resource Management (Hardware/Supply Management, Purchase/Expense Management Financial Management)
    • Track budgets, manage expenses, and oversee equipment and inventory. Collaborate with Finance for expense management and process improvements.
    Rhythm of Business (ROB)
    • Implement business cadence and support the ROB through communication and feedback gathering. Plan and execute meetings in alignment with business objectives.
    Travel Management
    • Handle travel arrangements, create detailed itineraries, and ensure compliance with travel policies. Support leaders during business trips and guide colleagues on travel procedures.
