SKIN Dermatology is a dermatology practice located the borderline of Munster/Highland IN. We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. SKIN Dermatology mission is to provide excellent patient care in a comfortable, family-oriented environment.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Checking patients in/out in EMR System
- Scheduling
- Handle inbound/outbound calls
- Insurance verification
- Review & update patient demographics and insurance in EMR
- Medical Records Requests
- Record accurate documentation in patient's EMR
- Care, compassion, and commitment to high quality customer service and patient care.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Minimum of one year experience as a medical receptionist; experience in a dermatology practice is highly preferred but not required.
- Excellent computer skills and desire to work in fastpaced specialty clinic.
- Knowledge of insurance plans (Medicare,Medicaid, and other commercial insurances)
- Friendly, polite, and professional. Clear communication skills.
- Proficient with an EMR system ideally EMA.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to multitask.
- Bilingual preferred not required.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
