The position detailed below is for work TMMG is currently bidding. Contract award is anticipated in the 3rd quarter of FY24. Should TMMG be awarded the contract we will be hiring for the type of future employee listed below. Available 09/28/2024.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the update and maintenance of the Request for Change (RFC) database in NSERC and track the status of all associated Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and TP s.
  • Facilitate the delivery of 3rd party vendors with reports, analysis and other deliverables needed by the Ship Design Team (SDT).
  • Coordinate assignment of SDT engineers to analyze each engineering deliverable.
  • Coordinate meetings of the 3D Model Working Group and take minutes at each meeting
  • Assist with tracking and assigning SDT CDRLs in the NSERC CDRL Center
  • Track all Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR) issues that require final review by the SDT.
  • Attend and provide input at all DD&C Meetings.

  • SDT/SDT Admin: Schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, maintain shared calendars, etc.

Education/Certification Requirements:


  • Up to 3 years experience and a BA/BS degree.
  • 6 years work experience, or an Associate's Degree plus 4 years work experience, may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • One (1) year demonstrated experience with shipbuilding acquisitions highly desirable.
  • One (1) year demonstrated experience supporting a major system acquisition program (OHS/USCG Level I, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) highly desirable.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share Point and MS Outlook other software/tools provided on the Coast Guard Standard Workstation.
