Description
Manager, Marketing Science SBG Responsibilities:
- Support and manage a team of highly competent data scientists
- Develop different value driven sales solutions and initiatives
- Improve overall quality of sales solutions
- Measure effectiveness of solutions to identify areas of improvement
- Work closely with sales, program leaders and other crossfunctions to drive direct impact on small business marketing strategy
- Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in creative ways to stakeholders and partners
- Build different processes and routines to increase effectiveness and quality
- Frequently switch between ontheground tactical execution and 30k foot strategy
- Advocate for small businesses with other research and product teams to ensure that solutions are designed with businesses of all shapes and sizes in mind
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a analytical field (such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, etc)
- 8+ years experience in analytics
- 2+ years of demonstrated people management experience coaching and developing team members
- Experience in working with large datasets and using SQL or similar tools for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience doing statistical analysis (e.g. regression, probability) using tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, Stata, etc.
- Direct experience independently scoping and executing projects with clients and or crossfunctional stakeholders
- Experience communicating complex concepts to nontechnical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of current media landscape and challenges small business advertisers face
- Advanced degree in an analytical field (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Finance, etc)
- Knowledge of dynamics and structure for sales teams
