RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help drive new account growth via prospecting, sourcing, and account penetration.
- Manage a book of business and be held accountable for continued growth.
- Partner daily with operations team for full support.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery
- Maintain firm in freight negotiations and know how to manage both customer and carrier relationships.
- Ability to navigate through Compass's proprietary CRM to manage daily tasks.
- Utilizing the CRM system to track sales activities and manage client information
- Analyzing client needs and proposing appropriate solutions
EXPERIENCE
- Desired 3+ years of experience in transportation sales, account management and operations.
- Transferable Book of Business / loyal customer base.
- Sales acumen and experience managing freight across multiple platforms.
- Ability to remain resilient in a fast paced and competitive environment.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in warm calling and generating leads
- Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
- Understands the importance of selfmotivation, timemanagement, and organizational skills.
