Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible individual to join our team as a Retail Cannabis Receptionist.

The receptionist plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with state regulations and ensuring a secure environment for both staff and patrons.

This position involves rigorous verification of identification and other relevant documents to ensure that no one under the age of 21 enters the facility without a valid patient card.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and check for proper identification and entry documents.
Conduct physical scans of driver's licenses and other ID forms to verify age and authenticity.
Ensure all documents, including medical patient cards, are current and valid.
Check allotment allowance to ensure compliance with purchase limits.
Maintain accurate logs of customer information and transaction compliance.
Ensure that all protocols and compliance measures are followed diligently.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Further education or certification in administrative duties or customer service is a plus.

Experience:

Previous experience in a receptionist or customerfacing role preferred.
Experience in a regulated field such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or cannabis retail is highly advantageous.

Required Skills:

Strong attention to detail and ability to organize effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with office and ID scanning technology.
Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information responsibly.
Knowledge of state cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
Commitment to delivering high standards of customer service.

Legal Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age.
