First Shift

  • 5:00am3:30pm, Rotating Crew Schedule

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Performs In-Process & Final Cleaning and Passivation of products and components in accordance with work instructions.
  • Performs terminal cleaning and daily housekeeping utilizing various cleaning and disinfecting agents.
  • Performs manual device assembly.
  • Ensures that workstations have materials needed to clean and package products in a timely manner in order to have continuous production flow.
  • Completes necessary equipment setup, fixture ID, and batch traceability documentation with accuracy and mínimal errors.
  • Prints and applies Tags using printers for Work In Process (WIP) material. Verifies tags on all matches work order.
  • Ensures the DHR (Device History Record) is complete and accurate, including all approvals, prior to forwarding the Work Order for further processing.
  • Follows and executes work instructions with mínimal errors.
  • Provides input on new products, processes, fixture designs, and new work instructions.
  • Notifies area Coordinator or Supervisor of any safety or production issues.
  • Performs AQL inspection in accordance with stated inspection criteria.
  • Ensures all departmental procedures and proper Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Good Document Practices (GDP) are followed.
  • Promotes a safe work environment including the use of PPE when required. Communicates issues to management that could result in process delays and/or safety issues.
  • Ensures employees are trained on all procedures and required skills.
  • Adhere to all Quality System Requirements.

Reasoning Ability
Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.


Discretion/ Latitude
Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions.


Skills

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office required.
  • Basic knowledge of visual inspection, part handling, component assembly, barcode scanning, and label printing required.
  • Perform written tasks by reading, understanding and following work instructions provided.
  • Ability to navigate SAP, Agile and Documentum systems independently.
  • Must accurately transact Production work order data into ERP and other manufacturing systems.
  • Must complete equipment setup sheets accurately and completely.
  • Performs manual device assembly.
  • Inspects process output.
  • Performs terminal cleaning and daily housekeeping utilizing various cleaning and disinfecting agents.
  • Must possess a basic understanding of BOMs and Routers and their use for manufacturing.
  • Use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Ability to work independently required.
  • Proper use of Good Documentation Practices (GMP) required.

Education/
Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Manufacturing experience related to assembly, cleaning and/or passivation preferred.
