    Description

    Position: Front Desk Patient Service Representative/Call Center

    Industry: Dermatologist

    Location: Wesley Chapel, FL

    Pay: $18-$21/hour

    Hours: 8am-5pm

    Front Desk Representative Responsibilities:

    • Answer phone calls and text messages to schedule appointments
    • Manage the clinic calendar
    • Verify patient information and insurance coverage accurately
    • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
    • Respond to inquiries and provide information about services offered
    • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times
    • Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
    • Manage patient check-ins and check-outs
    • Collect copayments and process payments for services rendered
    • Schedule appointments using medical scheduling software
    • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents
    • Maintain electronic medical records accurately
    • Provide administrative support to medical staff
    • Handle patient inquiries and phone calls
    • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable

    What do you need as a Front Desk Representative?

    • The ideal candidate will have experience in medical scheduling or related fields
    • This position requires strong administrative skills and familiarity with medical terminology, along with a pleasant and positive attitude
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and records management
    • Strong administrative and organizational skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Experience as a dermatology receptionist is beneficial
    • Customer service: 1 year (Required)
