**Sr. Buyer ** **Global Procurement**

At Church & Dwight, we value talented professionals with a strong desire to make a positive impact in our company. Our Global Procurement Team is looking for a driven and reliable Sr. Buyer whose action-oriented mindset will foster continued growth throughout Chrurch & Dwights twelve power brands.

In this highly visible role based in our Ewing, NJ Global Headquarters, the Sr. Buyer is responsible for sourcing activity coordination, execution and project management for the raw material portfolio. This person will work collaboratively with the Procurement team to manage RFI, RFP and RFQ soucing activities and category research. The Sr. Buyer will lead all price management activity including price tracking, analysis and PPV review. This position will report to the Senior Procurement Manager.

*Responsibilities*

Manage and support sourcing activity and supply of materials used in the manufacturing of brands such as Arm & Hammer, VitaFusion, OxiClean, Batiste, Trojan, Nair, Arrid, Orajel

Lead project management efforts for stategic sourcing events and raw material supply implementation

Lead raw material sourcing and project meetings, including ownership of sourcing calendar

Lead raw material price management efforts, including price tracking and analysis

Facilitate timely purchase price variance analysis with Operations Finance and Procurement teams

Manage and execute all steps of the strategic sourcing process including developing RFPs, negotiating with suppliers (including eAuction), conducting bid analysis, and making supplier recommendations

Support supplier selection, meeting criteria such as assurance of supply, service, cost, quality, regulatory compliance and responsible sourcing

Support and execute strategic initiatives within assigned categories to drive maximum cost savings, supply assurance and value creation for the organization

Partner closely with key stakeholder teams to understand critical business needs and support development of sourcing strategies to deliver results meeting these objectives

Support the development of specific category strategies for the assigned spend categories, including market research/benchmarks, milestones, savings targets, resource requirements, and implementation plans

Write and distribute complex and technical bid invitations or requests for proposals; receive and analyze bids, quotes, and proposals. Award business and execute contracts

Support routine supplier business reviews, evaluating supplier performance and compliance

Collaborate with Corporate Marketing teams on product launches and transitions

Negotiate payment term extensions in support of companys cash flow initiatives

Complete accurate and timely SAP master data updates

*Competencies/Skills*

Skilled in field of Supply Chain with strong understanding of Procurement practices and procedures

Strong analytical and quantitative skills (i.e. MS Excel based analysis)

Excels in data analysis, strong with numbers.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required

Strong business partnering, communication skills and strong process focus

Skilled in preparing and analyzing complex technical specifications and bids

High degree of motivation, demonstrated ability to prioritize and self-direct

*Qualifications/Experience*

Education:

Bachelors degree in related field (required)

MBA (plus)

CPIM, CSCP or CPM certification (plus)

Experience:

3-5 years Procurement and/or Supply Chain experience

Proficiency:

MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word

ERP/P2P systems: SAP (preferred), Oracle
