JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project specialist will create equipment quotations, monitor progress of purchase orders, and schedule meetings to ensure the project is being completed to schedule.

To be successful as a project specialist you must have excellent planning skills and professional communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze and prepare equipment quotations in SAP from incoming workflows.
Process equipment & service orders in SAP, verifying all technical data, prices, terms, and conditions.
Create purchase requisitions in SAP.
Track progress of quotations & orders, maintaining regular communications with multiple departments, vendors, affiliated Krones companies and customers where required.
Track order progress payments.
Interface with Krones; Technical Group, Project Managers, Customer Service, Training, Accounting and Service Departments, based on customer requests and needs.
Purchase sample materials when required.
Assist with shipping documents when required.
Organize and maintain electronic file systems.
Travel to customer site or vendor factory test.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of business administration, process and structural knowledge, market knowledge, and knowledge of policies, directives, guidelines, and standards.
General social skills, capacity for teamwork, customer orientation, learning aptitude, problemsolving competence, time

- and self-management, coordination and organization skills, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of a degree, 10 or more years of relevant experience may suffice.
57 years' previous packaging industry experience required.

Pay:
Up to $80,000.00 per year
