JOB DESCRIPTION:


The project specialist will create equipment quotations, monitor progress of purchase orders, and schedule meetings to ensure the project is being completed to schedule.

To be successful as a project specialist you must have excellent planning skills and professional communication skills.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and prepare equipment quotations in SAP from incoming workflows.
  • Process equipment & service orders in SAP, verifying all technical data, prices, terms, and conditions.
  • Create purchase requisitions in SAP.
  • Track progress of quotations & orders, maintaining regular communications with multiple departments, vendors, affiliated Krones companies and customers where required.
  • Track order progress payments.
  • Interface with Krones; Technical Group, Project Managers, Customer Service, Training, Accounting and Service Departments, based on customer requests and needs.
  • Purchase sample materials when required.
  • Assist with shipping documents when required.
  • Organize and maintain electronic file systems.
  • Travel to customer site or vendor factory test.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Knowledge of business administration, process and structural knowledge, market knowledge, and knowledge of policies, directives, guidelines, and standards.
  • General social skills, capacity for teamwork, customer orientation, learning aptitude, problemsolving competence, time
- and self-management, coordination and organization skills, and communication skills.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of a degree, 10 or more years of relevant experience may suffice.
  • 57 years' previous packaging industry experience required.

Pay:
Up to $80,000.00 per year
