- Develop and maintain maintenance plans and schedules for all rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and motors, in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to identify and prioritize maintenance activities based on equipment criticality, production requirements, and safety considerations.
- Review equipment history, performance data, and predictive maintenance reports to anticipate maintenance needs and optimize maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of parts, materials, and services required for maintenance activities.
- Create work orders, job plans, and task lists for planned maintenance activities, including inspection, repair, overhaul, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and track maintenance work progress, resource utilization, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential equipment failures and minimize production disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance history, costs, and performance metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives and budget planning.
- Participate in root cause analysis and failure investigations to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to rotating equipment maintenance and reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5-10 years) in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a chemical manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of rotating equipment principles, components, and maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologies and condition monitoring techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications in maintenance planning, reliability engineering, or project management (e.g., CMRP, PMP) are preferred.
