    Description
    Responsible for efficient and accurate scheduling of trailers for a service center and customer base. This position will work closely with Highway Transport Management and outside equipment cleaning vendors. All areas within the position's scope of responsibility must be managed within established policies and procedures of the company. This includes, but is not limited to, safety, training, performance metrics, and maintenance.

    Trailer planning is the primary emphasis, but the position will also assist with managing day-to-day activities within the service center.

    Communicate with internal and external customers as needed.

    Salary Range:
    $56,000 - $70,000


    Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    Accurate planning of trailers relative to load and last contained requirements

    Responsible for keeping trailer maintenance and expirations current and scheduling services with internal and external vendors

    Plan efficient routing of trailers

    Effective planning of trailer preps and washes with internal & external vendors

    Meet or exceed tractor wash thresholds, minimum of once per month

    Ensure performance KPI are met (rev. per trailer, truck to trailer ratio, cleaning processing time, etc.)

    Other duties as assigned


    Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
    High school diploma or equivalent required

    Bachelor's Degree preferred

    2+ years' experience in transportation operations

    Bulk transportation preferred


    Skills Required:
    Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

    Management experience preferred

    Strong time management and organizational skills

    Ability to exercise independent judgement.

    Ability to direct and manage employees and contractors

    Ability to follow established policies and procedures of the company

    Knowledge of Federal DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations

    Must be able to work with interruptions and deadlines

    Must be able to effectively interact with internal and external customers


    Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
    Majority of time will be spent at the service center- in the office and on the yard

    Flexibility in scheduled hours and days worked is required

    Occasional weekend work and non-business hours availability is required

    Occasional travel to other service centers as needed
