This position's primary role is to provide exceptional support and coordination to the Global Services Group and its related overseas Technical Centers related to the IMTS Exhibition in this very dynamic trade association.

This position is not a typical routine-driven role but more focused on projects and special assignments, therefore, the individual needs to be a proactive self-starter with an innovative mindset.

The position will provide cross-functional support during periods of heavier activity.

This requires the person to be able to work well in a diverse local and international team environment and provide support to other team members.


Requirements:


  • Act as the primary point of contact for the department for the International Association participation and international events at IMTS. This includes leading the planning, scheduling, communications, etc.
  • Manage weekly and monthly reporting, and report reconciliation.
  • Develop relationships and maintain correspondence with international associations as required for various IMTS projects.
  • Prepare, edit, and format documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team and various other departments, as needed, on special projects and Global Services related content for IMTS.
  • Coordinate with the Events department team to coordinate Global Services events at IMTS.
  • Provide backup support to other team members as required.
  • Performing other duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe required.
  • Detailoriented and problemsolving skills.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels across an international organization.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic Project Management skills is a plus.
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with a CRM system is a plus.
  • Sales, Hospitality, and/or Customer Relations experience is a plus.
