Variable (9:00AM-5:00PM) - Some Evening Hours & Weekends


Reports To:
COO/ Project Manager


Salary:
$65k-$80k/yr (depending on qualifications)

The Field Manager at Owen Buys Houses manages real estate projects in all phases from start to completion by overseeing field operations, monitoring substantial completion of milestones, performing essential day to day tasks, and ensuring targets are met, contributing to company growth. The Field Manager acts as intermediary between the COO/Project Manager, and all work & labor occurring in the field. The FM is responsible for both administrative & on site operations._


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Conduct all our property inspections for new inventory or potential opportunities.
  • Conduct routine property checkins on current inventory to ensure property is safe, secure, fire and water damage free on a routine basis.
  • Drive to properties within a 60mi radius as needed to manage projects.
Areas include Staunton, Waynesboro, Harrisonburg, Charlottesville, and the following counties:
Rockingham, Augusta, Albemarle, Fluvanna, Shenandoah and Page. (majority projects are within 20 miles of staunton)

  • Coordinate the pickup and delivery of materials to job sites, ensuring timely availability.
  • On occasion Lift up to 50 pounds and up and transport materials securely.
  • Assist in managing inventory and tracking materials to prevent delays.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and subcontractors, relaying instructions and project updates as directed by the PM.
  • Keep thorough records of communication for documentation purposes.
  • Answer, return, and followup on phone calls and text messages from vendors and subcontractors as needed.
  • Build rapport with potential sub contractors and clients and act as a point of contact by scheduling and coordinating appointments for various projects.
  • Take clear photos of job sites, place lockboxes on job sites, and make key copies for security.
  • Assist in providing a scope of work for new properties.
  • Work in a team environment on projects.
  • Use the CRM daily to update and stay on task until projects are completed.
  • Attend business meetings and training as required.
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:


  • Background in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Licensed inspector preferred not necessary.
  • Proven experience in project management or constructionrelated roles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with subcontractors, team members, and clients.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Pay:
From $65,000.00 per year
