JOB TITLE:
ESTIMATION COORDINATOR





REPORTS TO:
CHIEF ESTIMATOR


JOB PURPOSE:
The basic functions of the Estimation Coordinator is to assist the Chief Estimator and Estimators in the day-to-day activities.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Perform clerical and administrative functions as directed by the Chief Estimator and/or established procedures
  • Receive, print and maintain all ITB per procedure
  • Log in Requests for Bids as and when received from prospective clients
  • Log in Bids as and when issued
  • Print all drawings required by estimators.
  • Saves drawings and plans to server
  • Cut sheets and specs as required
  • Maintains the plans spreadsheet
  • Maintains the estimating calendar schedule.
  • Assist Estimator in preparing draft estimates for Estimator initial review before submitted to President for final approval.
  • Followup with clients on bids that have been issued and update records accordingly
  • Assist Chief Estimator on development and procedures for the department.
  • Perform any functions within the scope of this job requirements as and when directed by the Chief Estimator
  • Contact clients to ensure that plans are received on time
  • Upon receipt of client's approval of our estimate turn over to Project Coordinator with all information required.
  • Maintain estimation server.
  • On a weekly basis, update Plans log list for plans hanging on the plan rack 13 and Wall cubby rows 14. Remove all inactive plans.
  • Enter all new vendors into QB
  • Maintains printer ink etc.
  • Keeps running inventory and reorders all estimating materials; plotter paper, markers, paper etc.
  • Maintain estimating project log with ITB, submitted and won or loss etc.
  • Preparing all docs for ITB weekly meeting.
  • Maintaining department organization and cleanliness
  • Transferring all necessary bid estimates, budget summary's, quotes, cut sheets, drawings, scanned bid set, etc. to plot folder for Project Coordinator to begin job books etc. for kick off meeting.

Pay:
$ $29.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No more than 40 per week

Ability to Relocate:
