    Description

    Job Title: Controller

    Location/ Work Structure: Hybrid (Pittsburgh, PA)

    Compensation: $125-150K plus bonus

    Client Overview:

    Vernovis partnering with a fast-growing Logistics company in Greater Pittsburgh. Reporting directly to the CFO, this person will have real influence at the highest levels of the company. Very fast paced environment, ambitious and eager candidates move to the front.

    What You'll Do:

    • Manage and direct the field billing, carrier accounting, accounting, treasury, collections, and payroll function
    • Maintain accounting systems to ensure complete, accurate and timely reporting of financial information
    • Implement controls to make sure amounts paid are in accordance with current contracts
    • Advise, counsel and interpret accounting implications of operating activities
    • Provide financial analysis of operations to identify areas for cost reduction, improved cash flow, and revenue enhancement
    • Special projects as assigned

    What Experience You'll Have:

    • CPA Required
    • Accounting or Finance degree, MBA preferred
    • 5-8 years applicable experience preferred
