    Description
    The Branch Operations Supervisor manages and oversees branchpersonnel, branch operations, and ensures efficient operation on a day to daybasis.

    The branch operations supervisor should strive to improve productivity and streamline branch activities tomaximize results and achieve peak performance levels.

    Essential Duties andResponsibilities:


    • Organizeand execute training programs for branch personnel.
    • Overseeand manage the daily operations of the branch.
    • Recruit,train, and discipline employees as required to maintain efficient branchoperations.
    • Evaluateemployee performance and provide feedback/coaching as needed.
    • Recognizeemployee achievements and encourage excellence in the work environment.
    • Conductregular sales and operations meetings.
    • Briefemployees on current sales goals, promotions, and other relevant information.
    • Organizemarketing activities and events for the branch.
    • Increasebrand awareness for the company within the community.
    • Interactwith customers on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfaction and gainfeedback.
    • Resolvecustomer complaints quickly and within company guidelines.
    • Understand,keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state and local regulations that mayaffect branch operations.
    • Assessmarket conditions and identify business opportunities through the Chamber ofCommerce and other avenues.
    • Adhereto high ethical and professional standards.
    Other Duties andResponsibilities:


    • Draftforecasts and business plans.
    • Managebudgets, allocating branch funds, and define financial objectives.
    • Coordinatewith other branches to share knowledge, plan promotional activities, andachieve goals.
    • Understandand apply company policy and procedures.
    • Ensurea clean and safe work environment.
    • Anyand all other duties as assigned by management.
    QualificationRequirements:


    • Collegedegree preferred but not essential in lieu of comparable experience.
    • Three(3) to five (5) years of experience in the lift truck industry.
    • Mustdemonstrate a high degree of communication and organizational skills to includethe ability to apply logic and constructive thinking to solve problems.
    • Provideeffective oral and written communications to customers, management, andvendors.
    • Mustbe able to perform mathematical calculations, including decimals and percentages.
