Medical Clinic Coordinator Job Description

Repairers of the Breach Medical Clinic serves the uninsured and under-insured population in central Milwaukee. Our clinic is staffed by volunteer licensed medical providers. The clinic also offers clinical experience to nurse, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, and medical students.


We are looking for a professional to plan, direct, and oversee all workings of our free medical clinic to ensure quality service to the clients.

The Clinic Coordinator serves as the liaison to the medical professionals, students, patients, and the ROTB organization.

The clinic coordinator will work closely with the medical leadership team and is a direct report to the executive director.


Responsibilities:


  • Handle and delegate all clinic communications
  • Train, manage and supervise all nonlicensed clinic volunteers
  • Maintain schedule of medical professionals, student groups and volunteers
  • Prepare monthly Report
  • Maintain accurate record of volunteers' hours
  • Order and keep inventory of clinic supplies, equipment, and medications
  • Have a thorough knowledge of clinic policies, procedures to assure compliance by all clinic team members
  • Attend the monthly FC3 meeting and report findings to clinic leadership
  • Coordinate and facilitate public health initiatives with Milwaukee Public Health Department
  • Coordinate followup on clinical visits to ensure high level of care and communication with members.
  • Coordinate and communicate clinical initiatives and concerns with shelter manager
  • Oversee additional clinics such as breast and aids clinics
  • All other tasks assigned by the Executive Director
  • Work with ED to plan yearly budget
  • Provide yearly goals and outcomes for the clinic
  • Develop strategies for increased PR

Requirements:

years' relevant work experience in office management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Friendly and personable demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Wage and details:

20-25 Hrs./Week

$18-$22/Hr.
