INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST - Take the first step toward a career in the healthcare industry

Core Responsibilities:

Create and maintain efficient and accurate inventory management procedures, consistent with company policy and procedure. Safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection.
Initiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategy. Make system adjustments as required and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Confirm completion of cycle count activity daily.
Establish, maintain, and execute slotting programs through the use of available tools (e.g., DOMS).
Determine disposition of damaged and/or expired product, including any possible recoup.
Provide timely and accurate responses to Customer Service and Purchasing initiated cycle count requests.
Ensure that customer returned products are saleable.

Qualifying Experience:

Requires a demonstrated knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices.
Must be highly organized.
Reach lift, order picker lift, computer, RF unit, copier, inventory reports, accounts payable invoices, purchase orders, catalogs, printer, and manuals. Inside working conditions.
No environmental hazards indicated for this classification.
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
