United Health Services is seeking a Medical Data Abstractor to join our Transcription department at 33 Lewis Rd in Binghamton, NY.

This position is benefits eligible.

$ $26.92 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview


Reviews patient database to abstract data elements and enter missing information into patient medical chart in accordance with detailed specifications from CDC, NBCCEDP, and CRCCP, MIPS and Meaningful Use program for screening rate measures and research.


Qualifications:

Education/Experience


Minimum Required:

  • Associate's Degree in healthcare/related field; or
  • High School Diploma
  • Medical terminology training.

Preferred:

  • Two (2) years related experience, equivalent combination of education and experience.
License/Certification
