The Employers' Liability Insurance Association for Raw Materials and Chemical Industry (BG RCI) is part of the German social security system. We are a statutory accident insurance provider and responsible for approximately 1.6 million employees in our nationwide network of member companies. We provide advice and support to our member companies on all matters related to occupational health and safety. In the event of a work-related accident or illness, we assist insured individuals with comprehensive medical treatment and rehabilitation, contributing to their successful reintegration into the workforce and community.

We are currently seeking an Occupational Safety and Health Inspector (m/f/d) for our Bochum-Cologne Prevention Center to start on May 1, 2024. This position will be responsible for providing regional support to our member companies in the "Warendorf district and Bottrop city" area.

Key responsibilities include:
  • providing advice to companies and insured individuals on all matters related to occupational health and safety,
  • monitoring company measures to prevent work-related accidents, occupational diseases, and health hazards,
  • investigating the causes of work-related accidents and illnesses,
