- Build out the AWS infrastructure. Strong AWS experience in EKS, EC2, RDS, Security groups, KMS, and IAM (roles/policies) required.
- Build, secure, and manage AWS Lambda serverless computing services
- Enabling product teams to self-service through tooling and automation and empowering them to deploy and operate their services
- Build fully automated and complex continuous delivery pipelines
- Administer all aspects of the ALM platform: source control (GitHub), work items, users, permissions, etc.
- Plan for performance, uptime, disaster recovery, and capacity growth
- Be involved with the vision, strategy, and execution to spread the DevOps culture throughout the organization
- Research, evaluate, and develop patterns for performance, uptime, disaster recovery, and capacity growth
- Participate in production deployment activities whenever necessary (evenings) usually 3-5 deployments per month (but continuously evolving)
- Agile/DevOps experience
- Experience with large, complex and highly scalable systems
- ALM and DevOps tool experience (Azure DevOps required)
- Network experience
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform (required), AWS CloudFormation, Serverless Framework)
- Programming and scripting experience for process automation (Python, TypeScript)
- GitHub Flow and Git Flow branching strategies
- Continuous integration and delivery experience
- Automated Testing (Unit, Integration, Functional)
- Hosting and operations management and monitoring
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate with people of varying levels of technical ability
