Description

Under the supervision of the Regional Director of Operations and Corporate Relations Manager, the Multimedia and Community Outreach Coordinator (MCOC) will be responsible for coordination the requirements of the community outreach programs and all multimedia projects in cooperation with our outreach team.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain a social media strategy to boost engagement.
  • Capture through video and other multimedia avenues Medic's participation in Community events and personnel while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Maintain and enhance Medic's professional image, presence, and accessibility through various social media network sites (Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, etc.).
  • Manage social media calendars for multiple accounts
  • Identify and coordinate public education opportunities including EMS fairs, displays, exhibits and standby events in cooperation with the recruitment team.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities.
  • Draft project plans for external and internal customers.
  • Take responsibility for and demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Adhere to organization and OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies.
  • Coordinate public information articles to run in local newspapers and journals
  • Develop and Maintain relationships with local media, journalists and stakeholders

Note:

On occasion, there will be events that take place after hours, occur during the work day but unexpectedly run long (such as unexpected traffic driving back), or on the weekends in which you will need to attend.

A company vehicle will be provided to get to these events but you must be insurable by the company insurance carrier and you must possess a valid driver's license.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED required, four year degree preferred
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Experience and familiarity with varied video and other multimedia adjuncts
  • High level knowledge of Adobe Suite of Products including Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.
  • High level knowledge of video editing software such as Final Cut Pro or similar
  • Experience working with a variety of social media platforms
  • Ability to multitask
  • Meeting deadlines and working independently and as a team player is required
  • Experience developing communication materials as well as developing and presenting in a public forum is also required
  • Ability to employ discretion and confidentiality in sensitive areas (i.e., HIPAA compliance)
  • Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication organizational skills
  • Knowledge of community organizations
  • Experience working with people of all ages in the community educational programs and promotional programs is preferred
  • Ability to maintain an organized work space (both physical and digital)
  • Employee must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the company insurance provider. A company vehicle will be provided to get to/from events that require your presence.

Pay:
$55, $70,000.00 per year
