    The Human Resources Business Partner plays an active role in implementing strategies and programs in support of both short and long-term business objectives with the overall goal of retaining, engaging and developing the best talent for Silfex/Lam Research.

    The HR Business Partner directly influences our talent and manages organizational effectiveness initiatives.


    It provides counsel regarding:

    people effectiveness, application of human resource practices, policies and procedures, learning and development initiatives, compliance, and resolution of employee relations issues.

    Additionally, this role partners with the leadership team to deliver critical programs including: Succession Planning, Talent Review/Org Audit, Performance Management and On-Boarding and Assimilation.

    As an integral part of the business team, this role includes management coaching and general support; conducting investigations, complaint resolutions, staff counseling, talent reviews and local training.

    This is a full-time, strategic and hands-on position reporting to the Sr Manager of Human Resources.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Partnering with management to deliver annual Human Resources initiatives as defined in the Annual Operating Plan.
    • Liaison for Organization effectiveness, org design, succession/ work force planning for Silfex.
    • Coaching managers and supervisors on employee relations issues; facilitating prompt issue resolution and conducting related investigations.
    • Guiding employee recognition and retention programs.
    • Overseeing employment-related matters in partnership with the corporate functions including Staffing, Onboarding and Assimilation, Immigration, and Relocation.
    • Seek, provide and drive data to identify trends, determine root causes of issues, and develop effective solutions.

    • Assist in applying lean manufacturing concepts and 5S. Demonstrate ownership of continuous improvement ideas and activities. Maintain organization and cleanliness, housekeeping and 5S within work area. Maintain these areas at the highest degree possible while responsibly escalating any maintenance issues.

    Essential Requirements:

    • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or Organizational Development.
    • At least five (5) years of experience in Human Resources positions with three (3) of those years as a HRBP or Generalist.
    • Preferred experience: HRBP or Generalist in a Manufacturing environment.
    • Solid understanding of federal and state employment and labor laws; displays integrity and ethics in handling confidential information.
    • Strong business acumen, consulting, analysis, communication, presentation, negotiation, influencing, conflict management and problem-solving skills.
    • Technical proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and concise communicator.
    • PHR/SPHR preferred.
    • Experience working with exempt and non-exempt client groups preferred.

    The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds. The employee regularly is required to lift up to 10 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.

    The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the environment is moderate.
