• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Use tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders to fabricate precision parts
• Set up and operate CNC machinery for tool production
• Inspect finished tools to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot and repair tools as needed
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize tool performance

• Machine Tool Technology vocational school or similar experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings
• Experience with CNC programming and operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of tooling principles
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for tool design
