Business Development Manager

The Role:

Leveraging our top-notch marketing strategies and robust partnership with Microsoft, this position provides the chance to nurture warm leads, eliminating the need for extensive cold calling.

Key Responsibilities:


Prospecting and Lead Advancement:
Identify and research potential clients in the target market. Generate leads through various channels including networking events, and online research. Advance leads that are provided to you with swift action and detailed answers.


Consultative Sales Approach:
Understand the unique business challenges of potential clients and position our ERP solutions as the ideal fit. Conduct needs assessments and provide tailored presentations to showcase the benefits of our ERP offerings.


Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:
Deliver compelling and persuasive presentations to key decision makers. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the functionality and features of both the solutions and Western Computer as a partner.


Proposal Development:
Collaborate with the pre-sales and technical teams to develop detailed and customized proposals. Prepare and present proposals to potential clients, addressing their specific business requirements.


Sales Closing:
Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure. Work closely with the sales support team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.


Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencers. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.


Collaborate with Microsoft:
Work closely with Microsoft field sellers, our operations team, and our customers to build and maintain strong relationships.


Who you are:


  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, MIS, or equivalent documented work experience
  • 3+ years of technology based selling experience in a businesstobusiness environment with 2+ years of selling ERP solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Resultsoriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Common knowledge in one or more industry sectors Western Computer supports:
  • Omni Channel CPG, Distribution, Manufacturing, Field Service, Rental Management, Professional Services, Life Sciences/Biotech, and Wine and Spirits Importers and Distribution.

Anticipate a competitive salary ranging from $90,000-$120,000 per year with an opportunity for significant additional compensation via commissions. Successful individuals can reach $200-$250K per year, and extraordinary can reach beyond $400K.
