    Job Summary

    The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and technical support for Owensboro Community and Technical College in the Human Resources Office. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.

    Job Duties:

    •Assist with Talent Management tasks to include but not limited to creating job descriptions, sourcing job advertisements, screening application submissions, and acting as a participant in search committee work. Use of the Applicant Tracking System, PageUp for all recruiting efforts.

    •Collaborate with internal hiring managers to define hiring needs, set goals, and execute recruitment efforts.

    •Coordinate the employee wellness program, benefits conveyance, plan enrollment, and benefits/wellness fairs.

    •Coordinate new employee orientation activities as well as on-boarding and off-boarding.

    •Administer and process employment actions using Human Resources Information System HRIS, PeopleSoft.

    •Provide support to employee and internal stakeholder inquiries around processes, policies, and procedures.

    •Maintain employee records, data management, personnel filing, and perform audits. Ensure accuracy, data integrity, information security, and confidentiality.

    •Assist Human Resources team members in aiding in HR related matters, using all applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and resources.

    •Train and mentor HR Student Worker(s).

    •Perform other HR/Payroll duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    •Bachelor's degree (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field), and two (2) years related experience, or equivalent education/experience. Example of equivalent, associate degree and four (4) years of relevant work experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    •Prior Human Resources work experience preferred.

    •Prior HRIS experience preferred.

    •Prior Payroll experience preferred.
