PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates pallet jacks and/or forklift to transport materials throughout the facility and into storage racks.
  • Receives and unloads freight, both manually or with equipment such as forklift.
  • Preps and loads freight.
  • May use hand and/or power tools to assemble or disassemble shipping crates
  • Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Schedule Mon-Fri 7a3p (overtime Saturday)

SUPERVISION
Works under general supervision on varied, but standardized tasks.


REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma required.

Must have clear understanding of basic math and have the ability to read, write and comprehend English (work orders, safety and operational instructions, picklist).


WORK ENVIRONMENT
Spends 100% of time in shop. May be exposed to possible shop hazards including heavy machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.
