Job Title:
Cloud Engineer (Productivity Analyst)

Location:
Houston, TX, Locals only, Onsite from day 1)

Job Type: 6-12+ month Contract

Job Description

Support the End User Productivity team in the evaluation and adoption of new technologies to improve the productivity of Customer's workforce
Focus on improving the end user experience across multiple platforms, geographies, all corporate levels, and value chains
Engage with Customer at multiple levels - working with various levels in the organizations and BUs.
Work with various business units to provide specialized/technical/functional guidance as new technology is deployed throughout the enterprise
Identify opportunities to incorporate business workflow improvement and automation
Understand and communicate the value of cloud based services and technologies and to Customer's shareholders

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years as an analyst
Lean Sigma experience
Creative/Think outside of the box
Assertive and able to present and train at all levels (front line to senior management)
Some type of IT experience would be preferred

Critical selection criteria (listed from highest to lowest priority)

Communication -

Communicates in a clear, concise, understandable manner both orally and in writing. Listens carefully and asks questions to understand the views, concerns and comments of others.

Execution -

Drives for results keeping with the Customer Way and tenants of operation, apply financial discipline, identify and mitigate risks.

Ability to facilitate a virtual team across OPCOs and gain their commitment to deliver plans which apply new technologies to address identified productivity opportunities, resolve barriers to the adoption and capture end user productivity value realization.

Business & IT Knowledge -

Understands how business units operate, aware of operating environments and cultures outside the US. Understands how business strategies, plans and regional IT needs vary among Customer business units.

Ability to identify best practices for implementation of productivity advancement within a business function, and share those best practices across appropriate business functions.

Demonstrates knowledge in one or more IT delivery teams with some experience prior Customer business exposure. Ability to assist remote organizations to understand the technologies to leverage in realizing workflow improvements. Ability to quickly grasp new technologies.

Leadership -

Demonstrates ability to participate in formal and informal teams, influence, motivate and partner with geographically dispersed colleagues; build alignment using appropriate methods.

Strong collaboration across multiple levels and organizations. Ability to work through business unit Champions to monitor progress and foster the successful completion of deliverables.
