Job Title:
Azure Cloud Engineer


Location:
Fully remote. Must be available to work in Central Standard Time (CST) or Eastern Standard Time (EST).


Responsibilities:
Lead and execute Azure cloud strategy.
Migrate on-premises environments to Azure cloud.
Design and implement Azure Cloud solutions.
Handle Azure configuration requests.
Deploy and manage Azure DevOps.
Implement standard function and containerized deployment of endpoints.
Utilize Azure services including Logic Apps, Function Apps, Data Factory, and Azure Synapse.
Implement infrastructure as code using Bicep or Terraform, creating pipelines for CI/CD.
Manage project teams to ensure proper implementation of infrastructure as code.
Collaborate with offshore teams and participate in offshore calls as needed.
Provide expertise in optimizing cloud costs and advising on cloud contracts.


Qualifications:
Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure Cloud solutions.
Hands-on experience migrating on-premises environments to Azure.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of Azure services and their applications.
Experience with Logic Apps, Function Apps, Data Factory, and Azure Synapse.
Knowledge of AI/ML trends in cloud environments.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Bicep or Terraform.
Ability to manage project teams and collaborate effectively.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with offshore teams.
Understanding of cloud cost optimization strategies and cloud contracts.
