Job Summary:

Guides and develops the content strategy and creation process for the Charge brand. Works closely with design and marketing teams to ensure content is engaging and consistent across all media platforms.


_Duties/Responsibilities:
_


  • Author unique and specific content for various platforms including websites, print, social media, proposals to secure work, and other company messaging.
  • Develop and deliver employee communications, including the employee intranet content and monthly newsletter, to help promote a safe, positive, informed, and connected workforce.
  • Produce clear, concise, highquality content that is appropriate for the intended audience.
  • Proofread content before publishing, gaining approvals from identified SMEs to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Develop and manage communication plans and content calendars, adhering to deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering in close collaboration with the Marketing team, and in alignment with company strategic objectives.
  • Assist with scheduling and planning of photo/video productions and organizing photo/video assets.
  • Ensure content remains consistent across all platforms and aligned with brand voice and tone.
  • Track content analytics to show engagement results and opportunities.
  • Support ongoing efforts to ensure a consistent brand experience across all internal and external engagement points. Advocate for brand and core value standardization across all communications.
  • Research content and consumer trends to ensure content is relevant and appealing.
  • Mentor contributors on writing and grammar styles, using the Associated Press Stylebook standards.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects, as required.

_Required Skills/Abilities:
_


  • Excellent written and interpersonal, listening, and oral communication, and organizational skills.
  • Skilled storyteller with experience in the in the A/E/C (architecture, engineering, construction) and/or utilities industry; knowledge of current consumer and content trends.
  • Dependable with respect to attendance and punctuality, reliable and detailoriented.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks within established deadlines.
  • Must take pride in providing highquality, detailed work.
  • Must be able to stay calm under pressure and provide excellent customer service.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and desire to make a difference.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Graphic design expertise in the creation of marketing or other promotional materials, both printed and digital, is a plus.

_Education and Experience:
_


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or journalism
  • 35 years of relevant experience

_Compensation:
_
$71,500 - $85,000


_ Physical requirements:
_


  • Must be able to lift up to 10lbs
  • Work at a desk and on a computer approximately 68 hours per day
  • Perform with frequent interruptions and/or distractions
  • Perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload
